AL VIA LA PRIMA EDIZIONE DEL FESTIVAL DELLE STELLE DEL MEDITERRANEO

Nonostante la poca fiducia di chi crede che in un piccolo comune lucano non si possa organizzare un grande evento, nonostante chi pensa che la Basilicata non possa volare così in alto, l'associazione “Teerum Valgemon Aesai”, in collaborazione con l'amministrazione comunale, ha voluto promuovere e dare il via alla prima edizione del “Festival delle Stelle del Mediterraneo” che si svolgerà ad Anzi, caratteristico comune dell'entroterra lucano, dal 24 al 31 luglio 2010. Tra gli obiettivi dell'Unione Europea, che ha finanziato la realizzazione del planetario e osservatorio astronomico anzese, quello di incentivare non solo l'economia del territorio. In un momento in cui alla crisi economica si accompagna una crisi culturale preoccupante, che vede sempre meno valorizzati e incentivati studi e ricerche scientifiche, il “Festival delle Stelle del Mediterraneo” vuole dare un contributo per dare spazio e risalto alla ricerca nel particolare settore dell'astronomia. L'evento ha un respiro internazionale con l'obiettivo di creare una rete stretta tra gli astrofili accomunati, nell'aerea del mediterraneo e del Centro Europa, dalla stessa passione per lo studio delle stelle e dei pianeti. Il “Festival delle Stelle del Mediterraneo” è unico nel suo genere in Italia dove l'evento rappresenta un momento di riflessione ed approfondimento sulle diverse tematiche che riguardano i nuovi studi e le prospettive dell'astronomia. Ad Anzi si svolgeranno, dunque, otto giorni di programma tutto dedicato alla scienza delle stelle. Alla manifestazione daranno un importante contributo il Centro di Geodesia spaziale di Matera ASI e l'Osservatorio astronomico di Castelgrande. Nell'ambito dell'iniziativa sarà coinvolto il complesso archeologico del monte Croccia nel Parco di Gallipoli Cognato. Il “Festival delle Stelle del Mediterraneo” rappresenterà l'occasione per mostrare non solo il cielo visto dalla Basilicata ma anche le sue bellezze naturalistiche e storiche. Intorno al Planetario ed Osservatorio Astronomico di Anzi sarà possibile coniugare conoscenza, scienza e turismo. Un connubio che l'associazione “Teerum Valgemon Aesai” crede possa svilupparsi e rappresentare un'occasione per la crescita del territorio. Mittelmeerraum Stern Festival

Der Verein onlus Teerum Valgemon Aesai Anzi (TVA Anzi) organisiert das erste Mittelmeerraum Stern Festival, um die Verbreitung, das Studium und um die Betrachtung des Universums und seine Geheimnisse zu verbreiten. Das Festival findet in der Basilicata statt, eine Region Italiens die nicht von Lichtverunreinigungen im Himmel betroffen ist.

Mediterannean Star Festival

The onlus association Teerum Valgemon Aesai Anzi (TVA Anzi) organizes the first Mediterannean Star Festival. It will take part in Basilicata and in particular in Anzi (PZ). There will be several meetings in order to discover, to study and to spread the Universe and its mystery.
